Method 1: Backup Pictures from Android Manually

1.Connect your Android phone to the computer via USB cable.
2.On your computer, you can see your Android phone listed as removable drive.
3.Open this removable drive and find the folder “DCIM” > “Camera”.
4.Copy the photos you want to backup, then paste and save them on any folder of your computer.

Note: If you cannot find your photos, try searching your Android phone by using *.png or *.jpg in the search field. After backup, you can choose delete the photos in the “DCIM” folder to free up phone storage space.

Method 2: Backup Photos on Android through Google+ App

Download the Google+ app from the Google Play Store. When you are signing in for the first time it will ask if you want to automatically backup Android photos. You can enable it right here. If you haven’t already done that, follow the steps below:

1.On your Android phone, navigate to Google+ app and open it.
2.Tap the “Menu” button in the top right corner and select “Settings”.
3.On the next screen, select “Auto Backup” at the top of the screen.
4.Now flip the switch in the top right from “Off” to “On”.
5.Go to Google+ and visit “Photos” page to see all your auto uploaded photos.

Note: You can adjust the auto backup settings, like photo resolution, when photos should be uploaded, which folders to backup, and more. Besides, make sure photos only upload over Wi-Fi, which is found in the “Backup Settings” section.
